Our starting point​

We know that the best time to learn a language is around 3-4 years old, not just because our brains are more receptive, but because we haven’t been shaped by society’s rules.

If you take some time to observe children, particularly until around 5 years old, they don’t “follow any rules”, they scream when they are very happy, they cry loudly when it hurts, they run and chase a friend if they like them and so on.

Their behaviour hasn’t been conditioned by society and rules of “how” to behave and “where”.

As we grow older we learn how to behave according to the culture we are IN.

And so, when companies ask for training to their staff in being “more comfortable” among other culture, we have to understand the starting point on why is this behaviour happening.

We are ALL scared and we all freeze when trying something new.
